Intex Aqua Fish with Sailfish OS is Currently available in India at Rs 5,499

Intex Aqua Fish smartphone is now available in India on eBay for Rs 5,499. The announcement came directly from the Jolla whose tweet was re-tweeted by Intex.
The Intex Aqua Fish features 5-inch HD display and this 4G smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8909 processor, which is paired with 2 GB DDR3 RAM. The smartphone comes with 16 GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up-to 32GB via micro SD card. Notably the smartphone runs on Sailfish operating system.

The smartphone features a 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS display. Under the hood is a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, which is paired with 2GB of RAM. Also on offer is 16GB of internal storage, which can be further, expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.

As expected star feature of the Intex Aqua Fish is Sailfish 2.0 OS. Built like Linux distribution, Sailfish is based on open source and is developed by Jolla  and the Sailfish OS community. The Sailfish 2.0 allows users to perform quick tasks through gestures. It also supports Android apps.

The Intex Aqua Fish comes with a pre-loaded Gaana Music app. The Aqua Fish also has other pre-loaded apps such as Jolla Store, Mail, Calendar, Tutorial, Notes, Snapdeal to name a few.

For photography, the smartphone sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front facing camera. On the connectivity front, the Aqua Fish supports dual-SIM, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, a microUSB port, G-Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Light Sensor. It is powered by a 2,500mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough to offer talktime of 6-7 hours and standby time of up to 20 days.
